At BAT, ‘diversity’ is a more than just a buzzword. For a truly international company, embracing different perspectives, knowledge and experiences is not an aspiration; it is our way of life.

On International Mother Language Day, we celebrate our differences and what brings us together. The video above features a range of our people, based at our London headquarters, saying “We are BAT” in a variety of languages which reflect our diverse make-up.

Simi Dubb, BAT’s Group Head of Talent Development and Inclusion, said: “As we continue to foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, it is imperative that we take the opportunity to celebrate what makes us different. At BAT, while we have many different mother tongues, we all speak the same language.”
