Tadeu Marroco
Chief Executive
Tadeu joined the Board of British American Tobacco p.l.c. on 5 August 2019 and was appointed Chief Executive on 15 May 2023.
Tadeu brings broad experience gained in various national, regional and global finance and general leadership roles, having joined the Group in Brazil in 1992.
Tadeu joined the Management Board as Director, Business Development in 2014, becoming Regional Director, Western Europe in 2016, then Regional Director, Europe and North Africa in January 2018. He was appointed Director, Group Transformation in January 2019 and, in addition to this role, was appointed Deputy Finance Director in March 2019. He joined the Board of British American Tobacco p.l.c. as Finance Director on 5 August 2019.
