We received regional recognition for 2019 from the Top Employers Institute, having been named as a Top Employer in eight countries – Australia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea and Vietnam.
Anna Dolgikh, BAT’s Regional Head of HR for Asia-Pacific & Middle East, said: “This award recognises the commitment of our business and the excellent work of our HR teams to deliver business success through an engaged and motivated workforce.”
Sally Powell, Regional Head of Talent & Organisational Effectiveness - Asia-Pacific & Middle East, added: “This award gives recognition to the leaders across our business who strive every day to motivate and inspire their teams and provides valuable feedback on where we can continue to raise the bar even higher. This is a very proud moment for our company!”
The Top Employers Institute conducts independent research into how a company looks after and develops its people. Certification is awarded to companies that meet high standards in providing excellent employee conditions; which nurture and develop talent at all levels of the organisation; and strive to continuously optimise employment practices for their staff.
David Plink, CEO of The Top Employers Institute, said: “We believe that the 2019 certified organisations demonstrate exceptional employee conditions and encourage the development of these practices by putting their people first.”
