We are committed to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) principles and conventions protecting children from child labour exploitation. We comply with all relevant local and international labour regulations, treaties, conventions and principles relating to children's protection, welfare and health and safety. We do not employ children in any of our industrial operations and have taken a pioneering role, along with the trade unions in our sector and the International Tobacco Growers Association, in founding the Eliminating Child Labour in Tobacco Growing Foundation. This is now established as the reference point for addressing child labour in the tobacco growing supply chain and is advised by the ILO.
