The following is a selection of business awards and recognition received by our Group companies:

Africa Middle East

• The Africa Middle East key account team took six prizes at the Shell Annual Supplier Conference Awards in Johannesburg, South Africa.  The awards are: Supplier of the Year in Egypt, Kenya and South Africa, Best Pan African Support and Most Improved Pan African Supplier.  British American Tobacco South Africa was also recognised for its outstanding support during direct store sales (DSS) implementation. Angola: British American Tobacco Angola

• Received the title of Top Employer Africa by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF). (2012)

Argentina: Nobleza Piccardo

• Awarded a Golden Eikon for its 'Trivia 110' press engagement activity to celebrate Nobleza Piccardo's 110th anniversary and a Silver Eikon for its social reporting process, presented by Revista Imagen magazine. (2009) 
• Won a Silver Eikon for its 2007 ‘Transparency’ campaign, presented at a ceremony organised by Revista Imagen magazine. (2008)

Austria: British American Tobacco Austria

• Received the title of Top Employer Europe by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF). (2012)

Bangladesh: British American Tobacco Bangladesh

• Awarded the country's first-ever Best Employer Award 2008 in the Consumer Goods/FMCG category, introduced by leading jobs portal, Bdjobs.com. (2009)

Belgium, Netherlands & Luxembourg: British American Tobacco Benelux

• Received the title of Top Employer Europe by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF). (2011, 2012, 2013)

Brazil: Souza Cruz

• Awarded the title of Top Employer Brazil by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF). (2012)
• Received the Época Business 360º Award in the Agribusiness category, in recognition for its work in the supply chain and leaf. (2012)
• Won first place in the consumer goods sector in Exame Magazine's 39th Best and Biggest Awards. (2012)
• Presented with the 'Creation of Value' award in the Beverages and Tobacco category by the Brazilian Association of Publicly-Held Companies (Abrasca). (2011)
• Awarded the Valor 1000 award for the seventh time by newspaper Valor Economico. Champion of the Beverages and Tobacco category, Souza Cruz distinguished itself for governance and financial sustainability. (2010)

Pakistan: Pakistan Tobacco Company

• Joint winner of the 26th Corporate Excellence Award for being the best managed company in the Business & Industrial category - awarded by the Management Association of Pakistan. (2009)
• Joint winner of the 25th Corporate Excellence Award in the overall Industrial category - awarded by the Management Association of Pakistan. (2008)

Paraguay: British American Tobacco Paraguay

• Named the fourth best place to work in Paraguay by the Great Place to Work Institute. (2012)
