This includes alternative practices to reduce the use of synthetic pesticides, such as growing resistant varieties of plants, or using natural extracts and crop rotations. Where agrochemicals are needed, our Group companies and their suppliers must adhere to strict procedures. These include the selection of approved chemicals; safe handling, application, storage and disposal; appropriate training for employees and farmers; and regular residue testing.
