British American Tobacco's core business will remain in tobacco for many years to come. However, we recognise that we also have a responsibility to seek to reduce the health risks associated with our products. As part of our harm reduction approach we believe the key is to offer different products that address different consumer needs. As such we are developing a range of new products that will not necessarily replace cigarettes or cigars, but will provide smokers with a choice - including smokeless tobacco products and pure nicotine alternatives such as e-cigarettes.
